The Listening Chamber reimagines preservation as a practice of listening rather than display. Instead of rebuilding Harlem’s lost queer and Black spaces, we propose intimate environments where memory is sensed and not just shown. The chamber becomes a place to slow down, to feel vibration and silence as traces of history.
